🌶️ #FundingWednesdays | Better farming practices. Stronger farmer groups. GIZ Ghana, with funding from Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), is procuring a consultancy to deliver Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and group dynamics training for farmers under its Spices for Green Jobs (SGJ) project.
🌍 Why it matters: GAP training is neccessary as it raises what farmers produce, and group dynamics training strengthens the farmer groups that negotiate, aggregate and sell.
💼 The assignment:
🌱 Train farmers in Good Agricultural Practices for spice production
🤝 Strengthen group dynamics within farmer groups
📋 Deliver under GIZ's Spices for Green Jobs project
📋 Strong fit if you are:
✅ A consultancy firm with a track record in agricultural extension or farmer training
✅ Experienced in building farmer groups or cooperatives
✅ Registered in Ghana with a current business registration, tax clearance, VAT registration and SSNIT clearance
💚 IMVELO Impact: Green jobs don't start with policy papers. They start in a field, when a farmer learns to grow to export standard and a farmer group learns to sell as one. Every firm that delivers that training well is building the rural green economy from the ground up.
