🌿 #JobHuntMondays | UNDP Egypt is hiring a Project Officer for Innovation in Sustainable Design, under the Danish Egyptian Dialogue Initiative (DEDI).

🌍 What DEDI is doing: DEDI is a lab for innovation and the green transition, and a space for Danish–Egyptian dialogue on climate, peace and security. Its current phase (2025–2028) focuses on climate change, circular economy and green innovation through three areas: youth innovation in sustainable design, green environmental literacy for youth, and youth dialogue on climate and security.

💼 In this role, you'd:
🚀 Design and run youth innovation programmes, including bootcamps, ideation, incubation, mentoring and showcase events
👗 Support youth-led business models in sustainable design, including furniture, fashion and textiles
📣 Lead calls for proposals and onboard youth participants and partners
🤝 Build partnerships with universities, innovation hubs, SMEs and design institutions in Egypt and Denmark
📊 Track results, prepare progress reports and capture lessons learned
👥 Supervise a national UN Volunteer

📋 Strong fit if you have:
✅ A master's degree with 2 years of experience, or a bachelor's with 4 years, in business, entrepreneurship,  sustainable development, economics or a related field
✅ Experience coordinating development programmes, from planning to reporting
✅ Knowledge of innovation, youth, entrepreneurship or the green transition
✅ Experience building international partnerships
⭐ Familiarity with Egypt's or the Arab region's startup ecosystem is an asset
