πΏ #FundingWednesdays | Horizon Europe is funding a β¬4 million project to build a network of "living labs" (real-world testing grounds where farmers, researchers, communities and authorities co-create solutions) for nature restoration.
π― Why we're sharing it: Tunisia is associated with this opportunity for Horizon Europe, so Tunisian universities, research centres, NGOs and companies can join consortia for this call and receive funding on the same terms as European partners.
π What the project will do:
π Connect nature restoration living labs and share what works, from methods and standards to impact tracking
π Keep living labs informed on restoration policy and lessons from existing programmes
π° Promote financing tools such as certified carbon farming credits and emerging nature credits, including for agroforestry and peatland restoration
πΊοΈ Map current and emerging living labs, and turn their results into practical, transferable models
π€ Link land managers with "buyers' clubs" interested in funding restoration
π Strong fit if your organisation:
β Works on ecosystem restoration, sustainable land or water management, or agroforestry
β Has experience with networks, knowledge-sharing or policy engagement
β Can bring social science expertise (economics, finance or communication) into a multi-partner project
β Is ready to partner with organisations across Europe
π IMVELO Impact: Restoring nature works best when farmers, scientists and communities learn from each other across borders. For Tunisian organisations, this is a chance to bring North African experience of restoring drylands and farmland into one of Europe's flagship restoration networks.
π Open to: Consortia from EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries, including Tunisia
πΆ Budget: β¬4 million (one project)
ποΈ Opens: 13 October 2026
β° Deadline: 14 January 2027, 17:00 Brussels time
