🌍 JOBHUNTMONDAYS||The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is hiring a Regional Environmental & Social Safeguard Coordinator in Kigali, Rwanda, with travel across the region.
The role supports WCS teams across Central Africa and the Gulf of Guinea to apply environmental and social safeguards in conservation work—but this is not simply a compliance position. It is a hands-on advisory and problem-solving role, working with teams, communities and affected rights-holders.
🎯 You’ll need:
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience applying environmental and social safeguards in conservation, development or humanitarian settings
• Experience working directly with Indigenous Peoples, local communities and other affected rights-holders
• Experience related to conservation, land and natural-resource governance, protected areas or rural development is an advantage
